Job Description & Overview

Spirion LLC, an enterprise security, privacy and risk management software, is seeking a Solutions Engineer, responsible for growing the company revenue by teaming with Account Executives/Partners and Channel Account Managers to complete technology portions of the sales process. Solutions Engineers demonstrate technology solutions and direct Proofs of Concept for customers/prospects.

Essential Functions:

  • Grow company revenue and demonstrate solutions
  • Analyze, access, input, and retrieve data
  • Report pertinent information and assist with tasks to support department operations
  • Develop and maintain a solid understanding of the Spirion products and market
  • Adhere to established policies and procedures
  • Ensure Customer Service delivery
  • Adhere to Code of Conduct/Ethics and Spirion Core Values

Job Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate solution capabilities to customers, prospects, and partners
  • Enable key partners in region to become proficient in selling, supporting, and providing services related to Spirion technology
  • Scope, build and lead prospect/customer Proof of Concept as key components of the sales process
  • Lead technology discussions and demonstrations at field marketing events as required
  • Stay current on product capabilities and developments
  • Maintain knowledge of industry and competitors
  • Participate in product steering committees as required

Requirements:

  • Minimum of an undergraduate degree in Business, or other related field; or a combination of commensurate experience and education
  • Knowledge of various software packages, and demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • 5+ years of experience in customer-facing technology sales role or equivalent.
  • Reliability and discretion, adaptability, and problem-solving skills
  • Negotiation and relationship-building skills
  • Experience in technology or IT field in addition to supply management experience a plus
  • Remain updated on technical and professional knowledge by attending educational workshops, joining professional associates, building networks with fellow professionals and reviewing of industry publications
  • Initiative, leadership and the ability to 'make things happen'
  • knowledge of systems, and procedures, excellent time management skills, and the ability to multi-task
  • attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • strong organizational and planning skills
  • Ability to travel, up to 50% pre-Covid, Post-Covid - TBD.
