Job Description & Overview

Are you motivated by an opportunity to influence Product Management in a security tech company? Are you a solid communicator who can extract valuable customer feedback on Spirion's products?


Spirion is hiring a Senior Product Manager to join our Product Management team, and work out of our US Headquarters in beautiful St. Petersburg, FL. You will define the product visions and roadmap to establish how Spirion builds out its Sensitive Data Platform product suite by translating market needs into new product opportunities while supporting existing product features to improve customer experiences.


You will guide a team in identifying our customers' challenges and collaborating with other cross-functional teams to iteratively define, develop and deliver experiences that exceed customer expectations.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain product portfolio and work with senior management to create product plans and roadmap
  • Craft and own the vision for the Spirion Sensitive Data Platform and/or the Sensitive Data Finder products.
  • Communicate strategy, prioritization and deliverables to all stakeholders
  • Create Product Requirements Documents based on product vision
  • Define new features and product enhancements for security products
  • Write narratives, use cases, user stories and requirements to enable the product planning process
  • Work closely with Engineering, Product Marketing, Sales & Customer Success to deliver features
  • Develop, monitor, evaluate and standardize key metrics and product analytics to improve technical (performance, reliability, scalability) and customer / business performance - fostering a culture of data-driven decisions across internal stakeholder groups
  • Be the voice of the customer; know your customer
  • Deliver on commitments, gain agreement and alignment on requirements, schedules and launches
  • Set product priorities to lead the market with the right features at the right time
  • Lead product pilot activities and customer feedback for new products and feature
  • Own the business case model for your product and drive critical decisions through intricate understanding of how they impact revenue, cost, and customer satisfaction, in a way that drives good trade-off decisions
  • Lead "build vs buy" trade-off decisions where applicable

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 7 years of product management experience in enterprise software development
  • Expertise in working in an enterprise-scale SaaS product environment that operates private and public cloud implementations is strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of data security and privacy, GDPR, CCPA is highly desired
  • Experience in Agile methodologies and processes; solid experience in Jira and Confluence
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Experience in Cyber Security, DLP, Data Security and Behavior Analytics highly desired
  • Ability to build detailed product requirements, acceptance criteria and release management
  • Ability to present and facilitate at executive and peer levels
  • Proven experience setting strategic direction for product line that contributes to the organization's vision
  • Superb communication and interpersonal skills; Ambitious, results oriented, hardworking, creative thinker and a trustworthy leader
  • Minimum of an undergraduate degree in Business, Computer Science or Engineering; or a combination of commensurate experience and education.
